About me

I am a dreamer and a maker, named after a German band, a classic Jazz song and an Olympian swimmer. After living in Belgium, Italy and the United Kingdom, I am trying to find my roots again. I studied architecture and became passionate about well-made things, into which research, craft and love come together. I design with those using and those making in mind. I think of the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the children, the sheep, the sun, the light, the sound, the touch, the emotion, the practicality and the poetry, the beautiful and the mundane. I hope to bring function and symbol together. I hope to bring change.
